Your girlfriēnd is not your enēmy or someone out to disrupt your peace.

If she is, Get rid of hēr immediately, otherwise, do not treat her like the enēmy or paint her into one.

She’s your friend and your sister and your partner so learn to lift and support each other.

Life is tough, help each other up and through the hurdles without stepping on each other’s toes.

She became a part of your responsibility the moment you asked her out as you became hers. 

You are not her father, settled. You don’t owe her any material life and her bills are not yours to foot, that is also settled.

But you owe her FRIENDSHIP and friendship requires mutual respect, mutual support, loyalty and commitment to each other.

- Respect means to consider her feelings before taking certain life changing decisions or behaving in a certain manner.

- Support means to come through for her in times of need and distress. Help each other up morally and financially.

- Loyalty means to be faithful to her, chose and be in the service of each other alone without the involvement of third parties. 

- Commitment means to assure her of your undying love, respect, Loyalty and support for as long as you are able.

All this, under the condition that she’s loyal.
